About Us
Jeremy January
(Chance Marmalade)
The actor behind the silent vaudeville clown Chance Marmalade got his start on the Seattle stages back in 1992 with Seattle Children's Theatre. A graduate of the NW Actors Studio conservatory Jeremy has performed all over the city and has taken his one man clown show to Spring Fair in Roseburg Oregon and onto the streets and stages of Seattle, Eugene and San Francisco. Chance Marmalade made his Seattle stage debut at the Jewel Box Theatre in 2008. Mr. Marmalade's dream is to play the title role in Waiting For Godot.
John Ruoff
(Jambon the Adequate!)
John Ruoff was lead singer and trumpet player for Pocket Change, a local band for ten years. John was head comedy writer for The Tricano DeSales talk show in Seattle and worked with Theater Sports improvisational troupe in the 1980’s. In 1985 John founded the Midnight Mystery Theater and Rain City Players radio comedy companies as head writer, performing 127 characters to the present day. John has had ten plays and a musical produced and has been acting at Theater Puget Sound and the former NW Actor’s Studio since 2005.
Ruth Tru
Ruth Tru has been clowning around all over the Seattle area for the last 4 years and doing theater for the last 7. Now she's thrilled to meld the clown with the actress in Troupe Comique's exciting Vaudvillesque productions. Working with John and Jeremy has proved to be inspirational and a whole lot of fun, so her deepest wish is that the gods of Comedia smile down upon us-as our audience laughs their pattotties off!
